விடுதலைப் புலிகள் மீதான தடை நீக்கத்தை மீள் பரிசீலனை செய்யுமாறு இங்கிலாந்தைக் கோரும் மகஜர் கையளிப்பு

தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகளை (எல்.ரி.ரி.ஈ) ஒரு பயங்கரவாத அமைப்பாக வைத்திருக்கத் தேவையில்லை எனும் இங்கிலாந்து நீதிமன்றத்தின் நிலைப்பாட்டை மீள் பரிசீலனை செய்யுமாறு கோரும் மகஜர் இலங்கை அரசாங்கத்துக்கூடாக கையளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த நிகழ்வு திங்கட்கிழமை 02.11.2020 ஏறாவூர் நகர பிரதேச செயலக முன்றலில் இடம்பெற்றது.

ஜனநாயக மக்கள் கட்சி எனும் அமைப்பு ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த இந்த நிகழ்வில் தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகள் மீதான தடை நீக்கத்தை மீள் பரிசீலனை செய்யுமாறு இங்கிலாந்தைக் கோரும் மகஜர் ஏறாவூர் நகர பிரதேச செயலாளர் வெள்ளைத்தம்பி நிஹாறா விடம் கையளிக்கப்பட்டது.

ஜனநாயக மக்கள் கட்சியின் தலைவர் கே. அப்துல் வாஜித், பிரிட்டிஷ் பிரதமர் போரிஸ் ஜோஹ்ன்ஸன் அனுப்பி வைத்துள்ள அந்த மகஜரின் பிரதிகள் இலங்கை ஜனாதிபதி கோத்தபாய ராஜபக்ஷ, பிரதமர் மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஷ, வெளிவிகார அமைச்சர், இலங்கையிலுள்ள பிரிட்டிஷ் உயர் ஸ்தானீகர், பிரிட்டிஷ் உள்துறைச் செயலாளர் பிரித்தி பட்டேல் ஆகியோருக்கும் அனுப்பி அவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

அந்த மகஜரில் மேலும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது பொதுவாக இலங்கையர்களாகவும், குறிப்பாக முஸ்லிம்களாகவும் நாங்கள் POAC இன் முடிவைப் பற்றி தீவிரமாக அக்கறை கொண்டுள்ளோம்,

இந்த முடிவு LTTE இன் கொடூரமான வரலாற்றைக் கவனிக்கவில்லை என்பதுடன் குறைத்தும் மதிப்பிட்டுள்ளது. அத்துடன் LTTE பயங்கரவாதிகளை இங்கிலாந்தில் தியாகிகளாகவும் மகிமைப்படுத்தி இருக்கிறது.

2009 இல் இராணுவ ரீதியாக தோற்கடிக்கப்படும் வரை இலங்கையின் கிழக்கு மாகாணத்திலும் வடக்கு மாகாணத்திலும் அவர்களின் ஆதிக்கத்தின் கீழ் முஸ்லிம்களாகிய நாங்கள் பெரிதும் அவஸ்தைப்பட்டோம்.

அதனால் எல்.ரீ.ரீ.ஈ யால் எங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட மரணங்கள் மற்றும் பேரழிவுகள் இன்னும் எங்கள் நினைவுகளில் நிலையாக இருக்கின்றன,

அவற்றை எம் நினைவுகளிலிருந்து ஒருபோதும் வெறுமனே அழிக்க முடியாது.

சில சந்தர்ப்பங்களில், உங்கள் அரசாங்கத்தின் முதிர்ச்சியடைந்த கருத்து இலங்கை மற்றும் எல்.ரீ.ரீ.ஈ ஒரு வெளிநாட்டு பயங்கரவாத அமைப்பாக தடைசெய்யப்பட்ட உலகின் பிற நாடுகளின் கருத்துடன் ஒத்துப்போகக்கூடும் என்பது கற்பனைக்குரியது.

இதுபோன்ற சந்தர்ப்பங்களில், இலங்கையில் சமாதானத்தை மீட்டெடுப்பதற்கான ஒரு தகுதியற்ற மற்றும் பயனற்ற வழிமுறையாக புலிகளின் தடைநீக்கம் கருதப்படலாம்,

மாறாக பிரிவினைவாதக் கூறுகளை அவர்களின் பயங்கரவாத முறைக்கு மாற்றியமைக்கும் சந்தர்ப்பத்தையும் இது ஊக்குவிக்கிறது.

இந்த விஷயத்தில், அனைத்து இனங்களையும் சேர்ந்த இலங்கைக் குடிமக்களுக்கு எதிரான கொடுமைகளை ஒப்புக் கொள்ளவோ அல்லது மன்னிப்பு கேட்கவோ செய்யாத ஒரு பயங்கரவாத அமைப்பை தடை நீக்கம் செய்வதில் சர்வதேச நடுநிலைமை சட்டத்தின் கீழ் கவனமாக பரிசீலிக்குமாறு பிரிட்டிஷ் அரசாங்கத்தை நாங்கள் மரியாதையுடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம்.

எனவே, இந்த ஆவணத்தை Pழுயுஊ இன் முடிவோடு இணைந்த ஆவணமாக உள்துறைச் செயலாளருக்கு அனுப்ப நீங்கள் ஏற்பாடு செய்தால் நாங்கள் நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம்.

Re: DE-PROSCRIPTION OF THE LTTE IN THE UK

We understand that Proscribed Organisation Appeal Commission (POAC) has found that the Home Office decision to keep the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) as a terrorist organisation was “flawed” and unlawful in the UK under the Terrorism Act 2000,

We, as Sri Lankans in general and Muslims in particular are seriously concerned about the decision of POAC, which overlooked and underestimated the atrocious history of the LTTE and their glorification of the LTTE terrorists as martyrs in the UK.

We suffered heavily under their dominance in the East and North until they were militarily defeated in 2009. Nonetheless the deaths, devastations and damages inflicted on us by the LTTE still remain as nightmare in our memories and they cannot be simply wiped out from our memories.

It is conceivable that in certain cases the matured opinion of your Government might accord with the opinion of Sri Lanka and the rest of the world where the LTTE is proscribed as a foreign Terrorist organisation. In such cases, de-proscription of the LTTE might be deemed an unequitable and ineffective method of restoring peace in Sri Lankan, but rather promoting separatist elements reverting to their method of terror at any possible opportunities.

In a case of this kind, we respectfully request the British Government to take into careful consideration under the international law of neutrality in de proscribing a terrorist organisation which has neither admitted nor apologised its atrocities committed against Sri Lankan civilian population of all ethnicities,

We shall be grateful, therefore, if you will arrange for this document to be passed to the Secretary of State as a document in connexion with the decision of POAC.
